London Wine Bar

The more I explore our wonderful metropolis, the more I realize the best places to eat or drink are those we pass by everyday. One such place, and my latest, “discovery” is the London Wine Bar. It’s not a place that beckons given its location; next to a dental office, across the street from the old Federal Reserve building and with one single window to allow sunlight in. In fact, it feels very much like a long narrow cave with old school wooden benches flanking one wall and the bar hugging the other side. Aesthetics aside, the staff was incredibly helpful and the food was a vegetarian delight. Our waiter was surprising knowledgeable when it came to wine and attentive to our needs. Although we had planned to check out several other places on this night, my colleagues and I decided to stay put given the level of service we received. If you feel like going to a place where your dining needs can be met, this place is a must to check out. Cheers!
