The sound of watergunfire fills the streets
StreetWars, the organized league of watergun assassins, is coming to our fogged city by the bay. Hunt your friends, neighbors, colleagues and strangers with a leaky, drippy squirtgun. Feel the satisfaction of a hit well done as you messily soak them with your death-dealing fluids. Prowl Muni with the knowlede that failure could be a trigger pull and pants-wettening second away. Become the number one, cold-blooded soaker in a city infamous for them.
If you sign up now, on January 15th you will receive: a photo of your target, along with home and work addresses and contact information. Stalking people has never been so fun.
I played a variation of this game a few times at university, and I was never very good at it. I took out a whole two targets before I was eliminated. The overall winner of our campus games always seemed to be an unassuming asian chick, proving once again they make the best assassins.
Click on the link above for rules, sign-up info, and some YouTube videos promoting the game. And if you do play, we want to hear about it here at MetBlogs SF.
I wonder how long it will be until the city nags will put an end to everyone’s fun.
Well, they didn’t last year.

Now I know why SF is the cultural capital of the US. And I’m sad that I’m not a part of the movement.
I mean that with utmost sincerity for those of you who equate blogging & blog comments with sarcastic overtones.
I totally signed up.
I remember this from last year too. Just way too creepy for me.
@ Robin: You simply must share any thrilling stories from your new assassin nightjob.
It looks so cool, but the idea of being shot, for real, by some clown with a pistol, a homeland security agent or a cop is too ever-present for me to seriously consider joining in.
