Marine Mammal Center Science Sunday

sealMarine Mammal Center Science Sunday is a free engaging ocean-inspired classroom series for kids and adults on the second and fourth Sunday of every month.
Interactive classroom presentations hosted by the Center’s education team. Learn interesting facts about marine mammals. Presentations are 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM (45 minutes each).

Bay Area Discovery Museum Free

bay-area-discovery-museumWednesday, February 1, 2017 is free admission day at the Bay Area Discovery Museum in Sausalito. Admission is free on the first Wednesday of every month.
Important note: all children (ages 1-17) must always be accompanied by adults, and all adults accompanied by children.

The Bay Area Discovery Museum is an indoor and outdoor children’s museum.  “Our mission to ignite and advance creative thinking for children influences everything we do at the museum.”
Programs feature hands-on art, science and environmental exhibitions.

Exhibits include: Rainforest Adventure; Bay Hall features boats, the wharf, and an underwater tunnel, plus vintage train sets; Imagination Playground features soft and oversized foam blocks, noodles, and chutes with holes and shapes that fit together; other exhibits.
