The 1st Annual Good Vibrations™ Amateur Erotic Film Competition starts October 26. The festival features a film starring a couple of my close friends (Satine Phoenix and Baron Wood) and is is sure to rock because, well, they do.

What’s cool too is that a percentage of the proceeds from the 1st Annual Good Vibrations™ Amateur erotic Film Competition will go to benefit the Center for Sex and Culture.

On my way home this morning, I came across eighty or so die-hard sneaker fans camped out along Post and Stockton waiting for the release of Nike’s new Jordans. It wasn’t too cold out and those still awake were having a blast. A few even had their laptops out.

SFPD Sergeant Busted for Cruising DMV Files

A local SFPD Sergeant was recently booked and released on bail for accessing the DMV database to look at mostly women’s files. On the force for 17 years, Andre Fontenot was investigated for over 18 months and is facing 40 felony counts of accessing a computer network to wrongfully control data and using data from a computer system or network without permission. Creepy.

…stuck in traffic trying to get away from the West Portal station today. Today’s MUNI derailment made quite a mess and re-routed a lot of South Westerners on their way downtown this morning, and is expected to continue to delay into the evening.

Earlier today I headed across the Bay to Lafayette for a moment out of the City. It was nice, the traffic wasn’t bad, yet I still yearned to get back across as quickly as possible. As I found a lane to pay to toll, I noticed a rather strange object on the side of the lane. It was the head of a dildo, torn off rather crudely, just lying there, almost crying for help. It had lost it’s master, a sad rubber shaft that may simply lying in another lane, begging to be reunited. I hadn’t seen such a destruction before (at least in public), and I wondered why, or who would abandon their fun-rubber. It reminded me how much I love San Francisco, especially the drive back. It’s the little things…

I have a neighbor. The kind that wears wife-beaters (is one, cops have visited on several occasions), yells like Limbaugh and proudly displays a W sticker on his mid-70’s truck that barely runs. The same truck that caught fire last week. The same truck that is moved back and forth only for street cleaning and nothing more (and not in his driveway). The same truck that when started, fills my studio with horrible exhaust fumes. The same truck that he stores all his crap for the dump in the back of and never takes for weeks on end. The same truck with the faulty e-brake that went through my backyard fence. I wasn’t home when it happened this morning at oh, 6am. Thank goodness, I might have had a heart-attack. My landlord is out front waiting for the police to file a report. He, conveniently isn’t home.

Last week I happened upon the Java on Ocean Free Comedy Showcase, and was entertained. Hell, I even stayed for two more comics. The coffee is always good and I love the comfy, worn-in furniture.

I would like to thank you for not having the courage to come knock on my door with your issues of me parking in MY OWN driveway. Yes, my car does poke onto the sidewalk partially, but not blocking, I have had no complaints from anyone, and frankly it is none of your business. How many people walk up our 30° hill? I would like to thank you for having the City wake me up at 8am this morning with a $100 ticket and threatening to tow me, while I have parked in my driveway for the past FOUR years. I bet you didn’t think I would find out who called. I am so glad you don’t use your driveway (which has more space) or your garage, and park in the middle of the curb space so others cannot park in front or behind you. I’d also like to thank you for not being home this morning while I knocked on your door in my houserobe to give you a piece of my mind. You are not neighborly, and what goes around comes around.

Improv is not “Rated G”

I happened upon the second season of the Un-Scripted Theatre Company’s “You Bet Your Improvisor” the other night while at work (in the same building), and it seemed to be quite a hit! The actors were quick, witty, and most of all, funny. Everyone was having a smashing good time. It was a shame to have to go back to work.
