BeyondBeyondChron

While perusing locally made websites, one cannot help but stop and be sucked in by the homemade security cam style footage posted at the blog that basically documents what living at 34 6th St at The Seneca Hotel, under the auspices of the “non-profit” landlord Tenderloin Housing Clinic is like.

Let more You Tubing & ranting begin after the jump…

Here’s one blogger’s take on the situation as depicted in the video posted above, from his website built out of frustration that he jokingly refers to as BeyondBeyondChron…

The reason why they do this is because the Tenderloin Housing Clinic management … So what happens is all nearby residents, business, and everybody else in a 100 meter radius has to listen to this, day in and day out. Most residents have a phone, and if they don’t, there’s a lifeline phone for around 10 bucks. But Randy Shaw must make at least 90,000 a year, but can’t supply a simple phone system to avoid basic things like this

.

That’s a typical scenario according to a “supportive housing” resident named Jeff who has started his own website that casts a shadow on any image one might have of BeyondChron’s Randy Shaw as simply a humble servant of civic good who’s actions are beyond reproach. I get the feeling Jeff finds Randy to be no more than a taxpayer funded slumlord, not entirely some sort of Mother Teresa figure. He makes no Rev. Jim Jones comparisons, but he does document the puzzling pizza predicaments in the building as dictated by Shaw in a humorous fashion.

Apparently the place Jeff lives is a 24-7-365 madhouse, ranging from muddled management decisions, on down to the roaming psychotic & police tended episodes in the halls, crack busts in the lobby, with every resident receiving Care Not Cash handouts as a mandatory condition of residency.

Here’s some videos shot in the hallways while Jeff is often trying unsuccessfully to sleep…

That’s just a small sampling of the almost 200 you tube clips Jeff has compiled of the daily drama. Jeff goes on to document just a single month’s worth of phone calls from police records regarding the numerous dispatch incidents at 34 6th Street, the SRO that’s HQ for Tenderloin Housing Clinic & Randy Shaw’s BeyondChron. The pages and pages show on average 3 incidents a day called in to SFPD, becoming hundreds within a couple months.

It’s an all access visitor access pass inside the rarely seen 6th street SRO scene, with a unique perspective that none of your VH1 & Bravo “reality shows” are even close to depicting. “Cops” has been on for 20 years telling the story of Cops, but what about the mere witnesses?

While I don’t know Jeff or his personal predilections, he’s definitely become a tech savvy critic of living in the house of Shaw… but there’s also much more at his site…

Including this 6th St Fashion Show, inspired by other SF Fashion websites he’d seen…

How about the idiotic fights & constant stream of crackhead thugs & their tip jar thieving at the downstairs pizza parlor?

Oh and I’m also glad I stopped by Jeff’s Bluoz.com/blog because it was there I got to see the clip of Chris Daly refer to himself at a recent hearing in City Hall as “Big Daddy Daly”…

I would advise Jeff, if has any sanity left, to just move on , but then I suppose we’d lose this eerily engrossing website, yet more proof that San Francisco truly earned the nickname ‘the city that knows how”…

I want to talk to someone who can back this up. A radio and web interview. email me and I’ll hit you back. This is shameful, and we want to shine some light on it and get the facts correct.

The Tenderloin Housing Clinic is just another teat-sucking “non-profit.” Now you know why our annual budget is now up to $6.1 BILLION and our basic services — Muni, street cleaning, etc. — still suck.

Wake up San Franciscans — these non-profits are playing your knee-jerk liberalism like a fiddle.
