Presidential candidate Barack Obama — whom the Daily Show tweaked a couple of weeks ago by suggesting that his campaign theme song was the title song from “Jesus Christ Superstar” — will appear tonight in San Francisco in a fundraiser for Sen. Barbara Boxer ($150 general, $100 students/seniors) at the Westin St. Francis. [map].
KCBS reported that Obama — the subject of a Chronicle story this morning on whether he is black enough* — is also attending a “luncheon.”
Any other Obama spottings, please leave them in the comments.
* Come to think of it, Hillary probably has to deal with discussions of whether she is feminine enough!
he’s blacker than any president we’ve had in our history.
i also find it funny that all these politicans come to SF to suck up all of our money, but we never hear from them again during campaining. It also pisses me off that because of the elctoral college our votes as Californians are a fraction of those in the smaller less affluent red states.
