Geek Capital of the World

sanjose1.jpgMaybe it will never be called “The San Jose Bay Area”, but according to The Wall Street Journal, San Jose is the most innovative city in the U.S. with some 4,000 patents– the highest number of patents in 2005. Okay, so Sunnyvale, California comes in second place, and from listening to backseat conversations in my taxi I know that many “San Jose” ideas  had their conception in Palo Alto, but We’re #1, We’re #1.
