Webzine 2005 Drinkup + Jonas’ Birthday

Nothing like a last minute party invite. For those who didn’t know, Webzine is — not unlike Burning Man or WIRED — something that couldn’t have happened anywhere on the planet but here in San Francisco. Started in 1998 as a online zinester event, it lay dormant for three years, now, only to be revived by its original parents. It’s to online publishing what Metroblogging is to the city-based publishing world, a pioneer and thought leader.

Join the Webzinesters tonight at the House of Shields for a Drinkup, a glimpse in what will happen during Webzine 2005, and have a beer with me, because it’s my birthday as well. So, you’re coming?

See my weblog for some more details, the Upcoming.org event posting, and the Webzine announcement.
