I work very near where the fire was earlier today and i can tell you people here are wondering why it took so long between when the fire dept was called and when they finally responded. we watched the fire burn quickly up the hill before anything was done and it was obvious it was something that had to be contained quickly. Brisbane fire dept. dropped the ball and is lucky it didn't spread further.
