Strange kind of bedlam tonight around 5pm at Trader Joe’s on Bay St. Prior to getting to the store, I saw an older white guy against the wall two blocks away, handcuffed, and three or four TJ employees standing around, with a few cops. Inside the store, I got the story that the guy had tried to steal some wine, and then pulled a knife on one of the managers.

Not sure if you’ve ever felt this- really palpable tension in a place where something has recently happened.
