L. Ron Hubbard was the master scammer of the twentieth century and sadly his con did not die with him when he died, a fugitive from the law, back in the eighties.
Unfortunatly his replacement David Miscavige is just as money hungry and ego driven as Ron was.
however there is hope, while L Ron Hubbard was a master manipulater that could convince his followers that wrong was right and up meant down, David Miscavige is a misserable little tyrant that throws tantrums that are seen by those around him.
Also the vast magority of people involved in this venal cult were traped into it in the days before the internet when truthfull info on this cult was hard to come by.
Now these people are old, they have no retirement funds to fall back on, their bodies are ruined from the overwork that this cult demands of them as well as having medical care denied them just because L Ron Hubbard wanted to pretend he was a messiah instead of a fraud.
Remember these cult members as they are the main victems in this crime.

ibarna said: ""Hundreds of members"? How about a picture that shows these alleged several hundred protesters? 20 people is about all I see. 20 people who should rather care this much about something that actually matters."

I think you would have had to remove the drapery covering the windows of your cult in order to see all of the hundreds of people attempting to tell you and the rest of the world that your "church" is corrupt, harasses its (legitimate, research for yourself) critics through abusing the legal system (look at what scientology attempted to do in clearwater florida, they tried to use the legal system to block a legal peaceful protest, yet they try and claim that anonymous doesn't respect free speech, you have to be completely brainwashed to believe that nonsense).

Personally I built a fort out of all the copies of dianetics that I bought with what remained of my savings account when I got coerced into scientology. Since I couldn't see any protesters from inside my dianetic-fort they didn't exist and scientology clearly is not a cult, does not force families to disconnect from people that are not in scientology, and doesn't work children AND adults 15+ hours a day for 50 dollars a week in their own private gulags called the Rehabilitation Project Force.

Read up on the terrible things they do to their own members at http://exscientologykids.com or any number of sites. That site is run by the niece of David Miscavige, the person that runs scientology in it's current form. He does not have superpowers, as scientology claims you gain at the upper levels, or you would not even be reading what I just typed.

Any scientologist reading this needs to really take a good long hard look at what your "religion" forces you to do and say to others, the lies, the disconnection, the outrageous amount of secrecy even within the organization about its own teachings.

Religion is free. Scientology is a cult.

Yeah, hundreds.

http://flickr.com/photos/jasondefillippo/2336940666/

The protest was spread across several corners at Washington and Montgomery plus up alongside of the building. This shot is one of the corners and not the main rallying point. I was street level and big crowd shots are boring since you can't see the depth. Also I shoot for personality and details. If you don't believe me come out to the next one...
