Our Gavin went into Second Life to be interviewed by Linden Labs CEO Philip Rosedale, maker of Second Life (all this from CNET).

It’s all so odd- the un-coziness of the virtual fire, the hot, powerful Mayor assuring a geek that “it’s all good,” it’s just too crazy. I mean, did he ever have the stigma of a geek? And all this techie chuminess: we can’t get wi-fi going, our transit is in shambles, and we have outstanding homicide cases. I’m wondering if the baseball-playing, actress-dating mayor has:
- stayed up all night playing a video game
- had a blind, online date
- waited in line for latest Battlestar Gallactica movie
- speaks Klingon (or knows any phrase in Klingon)
- attended Comicon
- played Dungeons & Dragons
