Subjective Impression of the Bridge Changes

I was late this morning and decided to (gulp) drive on the new bridge. The overall experience on the bridge was ho-hum, and I didn’t pay attention when I drove over the new bit for less than 3 seconds. The FastTrak lines were actually kind of annoying since I drove that way anyways, and now everyone else knows my secret approach to the FastTrak lanes, and there are still only 3 in the middle anyways, ugh.

If you want to vicariously relive the FastTrak changes, here is a video. It’s really boring.

hah! That guy’s great. “boom! we’re in it!”.

It’s still gonna be a mess. How about, you know, 8 adjacent toll booths on either end of the toll plaza?

I really believe we need a much higher ratio of fastrak only to cash lanes before we’ll see the benefits.

(ah, I see now that there are more FT-only booths than I thought! Promising!)
