Yesterday’s power outages affected many internet companies and websites, including Six Apart (who brings us LiveJournal, TypePad and Vox), Technorati, Yelp, AdBrite, and 1up.com.

This report from The Onion is eerily similar to the power situation, but of course, with a heaping dose of irony and sarcasm:
