The 7th annual Bring Your Own Big Wheel race

This Sunday on the World’s Crookedest Street is the seventh annual Bring Your Own Big Wheel race. Face certain death on a tiny plastic conveyance! Compete against blood-mad and drink-addled racers! Show the world you have the guts, verve and panache to succeed at the most dangerous race man has ever devised (using Big Wheels, that is. I’m sure there are far more dangerous races involing cars or mopeds or motorcycles or tanks.)

This is the seventh year where big wheel riding daredevils will compete against each other to win fabulous prizes and eternal glory. Will you be the first to navigate the Scylla and Charybdis of gravity and friction and hold it together long enough to cross that finish line? Costumes are encouraged, apparently.

I wrote about this the other day on here- BYOBW- but no worries, your article is better, and with photos! Note: there is a live viewing of Sopranos at the cafe, 901 Columbus Cafe, around 8pm. Spaghetti and meatballs will be served. The schwermas at this place are great, and they serve beer/wine.
