The N will stop going to Caltrain once the T-Third line goes into service. The T and the J will serve the Caltrain station.

While this is an inconvenience for riders used to riding the train from the Sunset, et al, to Caltrain + the ballpark (they'll have to switch to the T or J), it is hoped that by not forcing the N to go all the way to the train station it will speed up turnaround times, esp. at rush hour.

I sure hope it does to make the lack of direct access to the ballpark ok...

I wonder when the N will start leaving from Embarcadero as it's first stop. I'm looking forward to the day when we get a fresh train instead of a half full one every day going home.
