Went to my favorite venue- Eureka Theater in Jackson Square- for Bay Area One-Act Theater put on by 3 Wise Monkeys. Four one-acts, by different authors. My friend and I made the comparison that this is like college basketball to the NBA. You see the more of the goods and bads, which makes you really appreciate the good. My favorite was the final act- Vial- your country dinner party turned into Russian Roulette. One act, the “Sweet Jesus” had everyone yearning for pecan pie afterwards, luckily there was some at the concessions (as it was… prop-turned-concession).
