Whole Foods CEO, critic at Zellerbach
In lieu of me having any time to actually do anything besides my day job, I want to at least draw your attention to a great post on Frances Dinkelspiel’s blog Ghost Word about the appeareance on Tuesday of the Whole Foods CEO and a prominent critic at Zellerbach Hall in Berkeley. According to Dinkelspiel, the engaged and respectful level of dialogue between author Michael Pollen, whose book The Omnivore’s Dilemma took the upscale grocery chain to task for not doing enough to promote sustainable farming, and Whole Foods CEO John Mackey, is extraordinary. It’s a post well worth reading.
