Moleskine City Notebooks
Here’s a new twist from the Moleskine folks. (If you aren’t familiar with Moleskines, Moleskinerie or Merlin “43 Folders” Mann can fill you in on their myriad uses, but “a line of notebooks with design and user fanaticism to rival Apple products” is a decent description.) They’re coming out with the Moleskine City Notebooks, combining city maps with the Moleskine design to make a sort of guidebook you write yourself. The San Francisco version is coming out this month.

Woo, nice!
They totally need one for Emeryville, though.
I’m dying to get my hands on one. I use the NFT guide mostly but this will be badass.
Finally! I’ve been waiting for this since they announced City Notebooks.
Looks nice!
It reminds me of my travel days when I carried a Filofax: I added the Streetwise map for my destination (L.A., NYC, Chicago, etc.) and replaced it with the SF map when I returned. That was about ten years ago, so the Moleskins seem quaintly retro.
I have long since abandoned my Filofax (I don’t travel on business anymore), but I think I kept the Streetwise maps.
the art store on my block- chestnut & columbus- sells a full array of moleskines. Funny since they don’t bow down to any office supplies or cards or gifts or ay other non-art stuff. But Moleskine makes the cut.
I started using them after my last Palm died. I adore them. Perfect size.
