Free E-waste collection Saturday
Got a new computer or iPod for Xmas? Want to get rid of that old Palm Pilot you’ll never use again? Want to rid yourself of those old CRT monitors cluttering up your closets?
SF Clean City Coalition and a local computer recycling company, Direct Computer Disposal, will sponsor a free E-waste disposal day this Saturday. Bring:
- TVs and Monitors
- Computers and Laptops
- Scanners and Printers
- All networking equipment
- Cell Phones
- Fax Machines
- Ethernet Cables
- Telephone Systems
- VCRs and DVD Players
- Any other Electronic Device
… but no blenders, microwave ovens, vaccuum cleaners or other kitchen appliances. Details after the jump.

8:00am - 3:00pm
Drop off of the above items is free. It is available to the general public as well as businesses, schools and any other organization. Please have some form of State-Issued Identification available at the event. DIRECTIONS:
Lake Merced Blvd - Sunset Boulevard Parking Lot
· From Highway 1 North or South. Take Brotherhood Way Blvd. going west. Make a right turn at Lake Merced Blvd. Continue on Lake Merced Blvd. and prepare to make a left hand turn after Morningside Dr. into the Sunset Blvd. parking lot.
· From 280 South take the Mission St. exit (one lane says SFSU). Make a right at the first light on Sagamore. Get in the right lane and veer right on Brotherhood Way. Follow above directions.
· Directions by bus/walking: Take the #29. Get off on Sunset Blvd. and Lake Merced Blvd. and walk into parking lot.
