Armory to Become Smut Factory

When I first moved here (not that long ago), I kept biking by this huge hulking building on Mission street that no one could tell me what it was except “vacant.” The first time I saw the place, I immediately thought Dungeons and Dragons. Now it appears I was not too far off the mark. The Armory will now be a studio for fetish porn house Kink.com (definitely not work-safe), I found reading this morning’s entry on Fleshbot.
According to the NBC11 article linked therein, the place was a National Guard facility until 1976 and registered a National Historic Place in 1978. After 30 years, it’ll finally be de-emptified.

Now that the armory will be occupied, I wonder if its new owners will give tours?

(see also the SFGate article on the acquisition.)

AH. I searched for “armory” before I posted that, but should have also searched for kink.com. Thanks.

Since it is based in the morally depraved SF area what’s the problem? It matches your culture.Live with it.

Why does the sex industry here have to be so kinky? For once I’d like to see some good films come out of this city that don’t involve overweight or underweight pale goth freaks beating each other then licking each others blood and piss.
Where has all the hot sex gone?
