NB Crime, and eBay

From the captain’s blotter, which I read devoutly every week or so. Emphasis is mine.

On 12/09/06 at 12:30 AM on the 400 block of Broadway, an intoxicated individual approached Officers Scott Korte and Norm Rice and identified himself as a “CHP” Officer, displaying a gold badge. Officer Rice became suspicious of the individual and the badge and followed him to a vehicle that he entered. The Officers detained the individual and found the badge to be a fake. The suspect stated “actually I am not a CHP, I got the badge on EBAY.” The Officers arrested the individual and a subsequent search of his vehicle yielded ‘law enforcement’ paraphernalia and a loaded hand gun.

Why don’t they change the name of North Beach to Doucheland?

Friend said recently that NB was voted the top 3 neighborhoods to live in. I have to say, there are many amenities.

It’s probably the most beautiful and historic neighbhorhood, but at night when I go to North Beach I feel like I’m at an Ohio state underage frat party. Far from what it was in the 60s

Little known fact, he thought he was auditioning for “Dumb and dumber 3.”
