The Redwood City Holiday Parade
Little kids in red velvet dresses practicing their baton twirls - toddlers dressed as giant xmas ornaments - All the nursery schools and parents’ clubs and classrooms and marching bands and for god’s sake shriners in tiny cars with FLAMES are milling around in preparation for the “Hometown Holidays” parade. Which utterly rules. I can tell this year is going to be better than ever.
Especially because my own kid is going to be doing a “Whale Dance” which as far as I can tell is just some vague whaley music and the kids “feeling like whales” as they march down the street. I really can’t wait. It’s starting! Hurry up and get down here!
I’m blogging from the corner of Broadway and an alleyway, on the “Savvy Wine Cellar” free wireless. Thanks guys.
Fireworks outside the library, across from City Hall, at 5:30!
