Bimbo’s San Francisco
Now that’s a place I could head to often. A place that would have what I might look for. On a Saturday night, late, lonely.
Its not the Green Door, epicenter of massages in Midtown, but its also not a library. Not with that name.
Ah, but could that refer to the owner, not the patrons? Might it have been a good name, back in the day? Or is “Bimbo” somehow positive still?
Closed, dark, forlorn, I could not tell on a run by, but the name, the sign still sticks. Bimbo’s.
Gotta love the San Francisco difference.

Dude. Do a little research before posting. Bimbo’s 365 Club is one of the finest entertainment venues in SF.
The aforementioned website also explains the name. Founder Agostino Giuntoli acquired the nickname “Bimbo” from a boss who couldn’t pronounce his name.
“Bimbo” is an Italian term of endearment for “boy”. (“Ragazzo” is a more generic term for a boy/guy.)
As Bradley mentions, Bimbo’s 365 Club is indeed one of San Francisco’s best live venues.
When is Wayan on his way out?
I agree. I think Wayan has overstayed his welcome here in San Francisco. Or was it Frisco, Wayan? What a lower-case “b” bimbo.
Wow, you all take yourselves waaaaay too seriously. Way more than I or Bimbo would.
Read the post again, I give Bimbo’s respect and SF too, for the name and the place.
whatever your explanation, your post had absolutely no redeeming value. not informative, not intelligent, not funny. honestly, nothing. please aim to add some value to the blog next time.
