There’s our San Francisco congresswoman, Nancy Pelosi — representative of “San Francisco values,” I hope!! — preparing to speak to reporters this morning.
Lest no one forget: the Speaker of the House is third in succession to the Presidency. Secretary of Defense? Eh, not so much.

i wish we were more lucky here in Florida. i suscribe to this cause the city rocks (sf metblogs) but our election only yielded more republicans i gotta get out of this state.

I’m cheering for her. And I really liked her speech over on the Huffington Post. Hoping madly she is able to keep some of those promises. I think she’ll fight like hell.
