6-Author Reading Benefit for Meridian Gallery

Listen to interesting local authors read from their works and support a good cause at the same time! Six different authors from the San Francisco Writers Workshop are joining forces tonight to provide a fun reading which benefits the Meridian Gallery. The Meridian Gallery is an arts exhibition space which hosts a number of different programs including both the San Francisco Writers Workshop and a youth work program offering teens experience interning in the art gallery business.

The reading will take place tonight from 6:30 – 8:30 at the Rickshaw Stop which is located at 155 Fell Street between Franklin and Van Ness. The cost to get in is based on a sliding scale, starting at $7 for struggling artists and $20 for those who can afford to pay more than just their bills, with proceeds going (of course) to Meridian Gallery.

Information on the authors and works which will be presented at the reading can be found on today’s SF Station post for the event.
