Halloween Hijinks & Politix : Daly goes after Tamale Lady and anti-DPT voters
Sure Halloween weekend provides plenty of opportunity for hijinks, mayhem, numerous young ladies in Playboy Bunny outfits and during an election year, acts of strange political stumpery. Such was the case the other night when Chris Daly, no doubt feeling the pain from the multimillion dollar DumpDaly campaign being waged against him , decided to do a little positive posturing. Amidst the picnc tables in the backyard of Zeitgeist, the supervisor appeared before a crowd of beered up folks with bellies full of tamales waiting to see a new locally produced Anti-Authortarian Kung Fu Zombie Exploitation Flick called “Meter Maid Me Massacre“. After watching a screening of “Our Lady Of Tamale” and a performance by the band Orelode, Daly grabbed the mic and surprised the subject of the bio pic, Virginia, and presented her with some sort of official Board of Supervisors issued proclamation.

Then after securing the goodwill of the crowd, Daly pulled out another surprise proclamation and awkwardly presented a similar looking document to Cecil B Feeder, a punk rock drummer & director of the Tamale Lady film, and the afforementoned bloody DPT bashing flick “Meter Maid Me Massacre”. Meanwhile, while Cecil attempted to accept gracefully with a beery eyed glow, a Chris Daly supporter in a hockey mask hinted more than once loudly…”and add Vote For Chris!!”…

The plot concerns a local citizen who realizes that the local meter maids are actually horrible zombies controlled by a tough talking local politician with super kung fu powers. To a soundtrack of deranged speed metal provided by Gwar viewers see a bloody battle shot at Speakeasy Brewery to reclaim the city’s streets from the evil flesh hungry DPT zombie ladies.
Will Chris Daly be able to do he same against the city’s most powerful real estate & corporate interests on election day…
who knows… but he’s knighted the Tamale Lady and drummer of the Barfeeders into the battle.
