What’s wrong with this picture?

Examine this picture of San Francisco’s skyline, found in a Lincoln ad in the Oct. 16 New Yorker. There’s the Bank of America building, there’s the Jukebox Marriott… Hey, wait a minute!
A detailed picture, and discussion, after the jump.

Missing from the skyline is the Transamerica Pyramid. Any guesses why?
A. GM secretly owns the Pyramid.
B. They didn’t want their product associated with San Francisco, and without the Pyramid, SF’s skyline is surprisingly anonymous.
C. Including the Pryamid would invite comparisons to the car’s design, leading readers to realize the car pretty much looks like shit.
D. Hey, where’s all that traffic I was caught in last week?

what’s wrong with this view isn’t that the transamerica is missing (hidden behind the bank of america tower, which occurs when you view the actual skyline from the south around bernal heights/glen park), but the fact that the skyline photo is completely mirrored, and never looks like that in real life!
