This morning was the Fleet Week’s Parade of Ships™ in the bay with a bunch of big ass Navy ships pulling into town and showing off for us civilians. I took a boat out today to get a better vantage point and of course took along my trusty Nikon. You can see all my Fleet Week photos here. The fighter in the above shot is coming off the USS Nimitz which you just gotta see to believe. She’s quite the big beastie!

This was the first time I tried Hornblower cruises and it will definitely be the last. Terrible food, lousy service and a hefty price tag. If you have to go on one then eat before you go and bring a flask and enjoy the ride while sitting on the top deck. Skip the rest.
