Wow, I remember when you just got those little flower-shaped Bible school cookies and a miniature wax cup of Tang.

sorry, couldn’t resist.
Exotic Erotic sucks. and I’m all for giving blood, but gay and bisexual men are **expressly prohibited** from giving blood, under one of the most antiquated, homophobic rules, ever. just click on their donating blood page:
http://www.bloodcenters.org/donating/blood.htm
and you’ll see this rule for donation exclusion:
* You are a man who has had sex with another man since 1977
it kinda fits in with the lameness of the ExErotic ball. sure you could lie about your gayness or bixseuality to give blood — but we shouldn’t have to in San Francisco.
Speaking of blood donation, Stanford has a critical shortage right now, so I am skipping out of work early today to run up to Mountain View to donate.
Thanks, Violet, for bringing up your point. As soon as I read this, I thought about the ban on gay/bisexual men. Ridiculous.
werd: I’m also wondering what this press release is doing as a post on Metblogs. no more press releases, please.
