The price for gas is falling fast; should level off at $2.50. This was the ARCO at Homestead Rd. and Kiely Blvd. in Santa Clara.

Tell that to the poor bastards buying gas at the Castro (SF, Market Street) gas station I saw tonight charging $3.25 for regular unleaded.
P.S. I bought many a hot dog/corndog/hamburger at that Homestead/Kiely AM/PM as a kid. Don’t eat gas station fast food anymore (aside from the odd egg-salad sandwich), but still fill up there from time to time.

Whew, that’s a relief — those smog levels were getting alarmingly low.

Chester, good to hear your eating better these days. Wave if you see me there.
Some of do need to buy gas. Matt, we can’t put the world on hold. I’m a taxi driver and my gas receipts total around $1000. a month.
