Fogrise over San Francisco

This was taken last Friday in Dolores Park just as the huge wall of fog crested Twin Peaks and began to flow chillingly down on to the Haight and the Heights.

    Just for the sake of reference, I would imagine this picture was taken at about 3:00 or 4:00 in the afternoon, right?

    I wouldn’t want people to get the idea that this happens at sunrise and that the view is to the east. The view in the picture is to the west.

    It is indeed facing West, but it happened at around 6pm or so, maybe a wee bit later.
