The Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence bring Bingo back to the Castro

I received this in an email, and since there are few sports as awesome or bloodthirsty as Bingo I figured I should share this info with you.

Revival Bingo is moving to ELLARD HALL, located at 100 Diamond Street at 18th. Our new home includes a bigger space, more seating capacity, ability to seat groups, a brand new sound & video system with all players on one main floor!

Please join us for the debut in our new digs on THURSDAY SEPTEMBER 7th starting at 7:00 PM. A gaggle of Nuns will be on hand to welcome back the masses with a few special surprises, including . . . . Oh, did you think I would really tell you? You’ll have to come to find out!

General Admission tickets are available in the Castro at All American Boy (463 Castro Street) starting on Thursday August 24th. Tickets are $15 for one bingo playing card or $20 for two playing cards. Tickets are also available online at www.revivalabingo.com or at www.acteva.com/go/thesisters with ticket prices at $20 which includes two cards, or VIP Seating for $30 which includes two cards and priority seating.”

The Knockout down in the south Mission also has Bingo every Thursday from 8pm until 10pm. Their Bingo is free if you buy a drink, and you get one Bingo card per beverage. This leads to some people–you know who you are–frantically playing ten cards at once. Knockout Bingo is highly recommended, but try and get there early so you can secure yourself a seat at a lucky table.

*Thanks to Sara for the tip*
