Monet show at Palace of Legion of Honor
Whiile perusing the Berkeley Daily Planet I came across a review of the Claude Monet art exhibit that’s been ongoing since mid June & happening here in SF through mid Sept.
If you’ve never been to The Palace Of The Legion Of Honor, you owe it to yourself just so you can say to your beer buddies, “oh I was just at The Fine Arts Museum at The Palace Of The Legion Of Honor”…
The view nearby of the ocean is fairly spectacular, and hey the show might remind you of that summer in Giverny. Or in my case, a summer I might want to spend in Giverny, after I pay down some credit card debt…
Since I ain’t much of a Thinker.org kinda guy, I’m not really the best Franco-phile to spit out the props as they may be needed. So I must say, I found the article by Marta Yamamoto on the noted impressionists work to be far more eloquent than anything I could drop, so why don’t we just take you there…

Great tip! I’ll have to check out the Monet exhibit. I love “The Fine Arts Museum at The Palace Of The Legion Of Honor”. It a great museum for the art-ignorant like me: pretty paintings, pretty building, pretty views, and just the name sounds impressive!
