As part of the project, palm trees were planted, new streetlights were installed, and 3rd St. was repaved. While the light rail alone is not expected or meant to bring a revitalization, it is part of a process that makes the area more attractive to investment. By the way, your friends in Potrero Hill can already be reached via the 15-Third, the 22-Fillmore or the 19-Polk, depending where they live.
