First Friday in Campbell

Lots of great stuff going on in downtown Campbell this weekend: pottery demonstrations, free concerts, free movies, farmer’s markets, and late-night shopping!

Downtown Campbell is having its first First Friday of the year tomorrow night. From 5 PM to 9 PM, enjoy after-hours shopping at the shops on Campbell Ave, along with other festive activities such as food and music.

During this event, Teresa Krulee and Paul Rubio, two awesome ceramic artists who I know from Blossom Hill Crafts, will be giving wheel throwing demonstrations at the Minds Eye Gallery. They will also have a kid’s art table with fun clay projects.

Then stick around at sunset to watch the free showing of Titanic at the parking lot between The Courtyard and Orchard Valley Coffee.

If you don’t want to wait until tomorrow night, there is a free concert tonight (and every Thursday night) at 6:30 in front of City Hall. Performing tonight is After Hours, which plays blues, R&B, and jazz.

And finally, don’t forget about the Farmer’s Market every Sunday morning along Campbell Ave.
