I ditched my weekend run this weekend as well. (Ssshh!) First time in months. But I love running past the conservatory, the musicians, and then the Sunday swing dance group on the bridge before the de Young. Then straight to the ocean. In fact, I love everything about Golden Gate Park. We are truly blessed to have such a stunningly tranqil space in an urban setting that's so easily accessible. My running friends in less scenic parts of the country love to envious bitch about my gorgeous running route.

Music has such incredible power over the human condition, it's one of those things that roots my faith in a higher authority, for there is hardly an explanation for its effect upon people. Today, I'm sure, as Tiff and I are married in DC, the music that I helped our church choose will play merry havoc with my emotions.

Enjoy your coffee and walk today, Christina, and most of all, the music :)
