		<description>I live in Bayview Hunters Point and our local police captain also periodically emails this kind of information to those who request to be on his distribution list.    It&#039;s handy to know what streets/intersections purse snatchings happen most often, where the crack dealers are hanging out, etc. so one can avoid those areas.  Occassionally, we read stories about really stupid criminals, too, which is always lots of fun.
