Every day the garbage truck comes down Stockton and gets tons of trash from the open markets. Here, there were a few women going through the old vegetables. I turned the other direction - to boxes they had already gone through- to snap the photo.

This is the pile of boxes from the markets. I can’t imagine they really move all these vegetables every day. I also don’t know who picks up the boxes- recycling people or those trucks with wood on the side, to make a cheap garbage truck- like Jitney Sunset Scavengers or something.
