A Public Service Announcement in Hayes Valley

One of the things I like best about San Francisco is the creativity that shows up in odd quiet ways around here. As an example, consider what you would do if somebody walked their dogs near your home or business, but failed to pick up after them. Lesser folk would simply grumble over it, put up a store-bought sign, or take Sharpie to legal pad and write something to the effect of “plz pick up after ur dog kthx,” but that sort of thing doesn’t fly on Gough Street:

That rocks. I bet that guy is going to feel like a real tool when he sees that sign.

In all fairness, he’s not the only dog owner walking his dogs without curbing them. My downstairs neighbor lets his dog poo all over Hayes Valley as well. We’ve left him notes but to no avail. So glad someone posted this sign tho’ as I’ve seen this dude and his two giant white dogs walking and shitting all over Oak Street. Avoid walking on Oak St (btwn Octavia and Laguna) at night as you’re sure to step on a giant stinky pile of dog poo.
