If you are looking for “IT” you should find it at the largest rummage sale in Northern California. The White Elephant sale will benefit the Oakland Museum of California. The weather person is predicting rain but the sale is held in a 96,000-square-foot warehouse at 333 Lancaster Street (at Glascock), on the Oakland Estuary. Sunday will be day two of the sale but I’ll bet there will be some good buys left.

Sunday, March 5, 11 a.m.-4 p.m.
no admission fee (510) 536-6800.
Parking is limited, so they recommend taking public transportation.

the white elephant sale is the bomb! I know some folks who “work it” haha, and they are always going on and on about the very cool deals. For some reason I think: snow suits, but to tell the truth the variety of stuff on sale is truly amazing, and the deals are also amazing.
