Arrrrrrrr, Fremont!
Rumor has it that there’s going to be a bunch of pirates invading Fremont’s new Seawolf Trading Company, a piratical-themed store, this weekend some time. Not sure when the invasion is taking place, but do go check out the store at 36551 Fremont Blvd, Fremont. (Pirates in….Fremont? Well, no one would think to look there, I guess, so it must make a good hideout…)
This, of course, makes this the second pirate store in the Bay Area, as the Mission has long hosted 826 Valencia, the pirate store being a fundraiser for the youth writing workshops held there.
There is actually another pirate store in the Bay Area, at Fisherman’s Wharf. I believe it’s called Hidden Plunder. Of course, it doesn’t hold a tallow candle to 826 Valencia.
