I had almost forgotten about it, but tonight is the release of the sixth book in the Harry Potter series, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. I can’t say that I’m a big fan of the series, but it intrigues me. I still have yet to finish any of the other books. I’ve also enjoyed the films quite well.

There are celebrations all over the world to commemorate the book’s release. Most notably, The Booksmith is having a release party from 11PM to 1AM with food, games and fun for all ages (plus a discount on purchasing the book!). Most major bookstores are also holding release events tonight, so be sure to even drive by and see if there are costumed fans anywhere nearby.

Hmm. So now the fellow who returned a copy of the book 4 days before release can finally get a legit copy. ;)
