And their coffee is $4.38 a cup
SF local Donny got a picture of the crazy gas prices at the Arco on Castro and Market a few days ago: $3.439 for regular unleaded and $6.159 for the premium unleadeds. According to KRON, the station raised prices because it got charged for gas it never received.
Because people kept buying gas at these inflated prices, local merchants decided to raise their prices on certain items as well. Castro-area consumers spent $275 on some old electrical supplies banded together into a bracelet, a couple hundred on a few belts strapped together, and $18 for a compact disc.

Since when is KRON a Fox affiliate? I thought the local Fox affiliate was KTVU, ch. 2?
For some reason I thought KRON was Fox. I don’t watch enough tv to know the channels around here, so my bad. Snark about Fox removed.
You mean “Arco at Castro and Market”, right?
!@&)!@(&!@)(&. Yes. Indeed. Thank you. Man, I’m having the worst day today; I shouldn’t be writing anything.
I saw that once before a few months ago… those identical, absurd prices at that station, which is usually one of the cheapest in town. Good to know why.
