Here Comes the Rain Again

Lifeblog postHow are you guys liking this weather?

One would think that it’s January here in the Bay Area, not June, based on the unexpected precipitation over the past day or so. Low pressure right off of the west coast has given us some cooler temperatures, and now, a bit of rain.

I, for one, welcome the change, at least for only a few days. Too much of one climate can be boring. That’s what I love about this area… the weather is so dynamic. It is also good for our grassy hills, and wards off the danger of grass fires.

Not to fear, the forecast seems to predict that this will all clear up by the weekend, so this wet weather is short-lived.

Usually if it rains enough, I will get the day off from my day job (at a golf course). This Wednesday I stuck it through, with only 50 die-hard (or crazy) golfers. I was soaked head to toe. Woohoo rain!

It bugged me when I wokd up in the morning and it was pouring, but when I went outside it smelled delightful. Surprises are always nice.
