Every Move a Picture
When I took my current job, it was to replace a fellow who was leaving the corporate world to play in his band full time. I found out that he is the drummer is the local band Every Move a Picture, an up and coming band, appearing at BFD ’05 and touring this summer with The Futureheads! Some of you out there in the blogiverse may remember them from SXSW this year.
Their sound has been likened to The Killers and Interpol, but check ‘em out for yourselves, they have some streaming music on their website. It’s definitely what’s hot right now.
EMAP was recently on KCRW, which is a great step for the band. Do check out the video online, it is a full video with performances and interviews!
They also play EMAP’s songs in regular rotation on the local internet radio station (yet nationally renowned) indie pop rocks on SOMA FM.
