A Foolish Afternoon
When I was in high school, I spent many a happy, late night with a McDonald’s ice cream cone in hand, having desk chair races through empty Kinko’s at all hours waiting for a project to be copied and bound. By the time I got to college, the Kink underwent some kind of corporate identity change rendering it incapable of correctly completing any job correctly or efficiently.
So, for all these years, I seek out indie printers who can get my shit done, get it done on time, and get it done right.
Enter Faithful Fools Community Copy Shop in the Tenderloin. Bad neighborhood - great printer. Patient, innovative, precise, efficient, low-priced and conveniently located at Turk & Hyde, I highly recommend it.
Of course, a copy shop alone does not a metblog post make so let’s add - A Bar Review!
Colibri (438 Geary) is attached to - yet, I’m told, not affiliated with - the Hotel Diva (or is it the Diva Hotel? whatevs). I’m a fan of the mojitos across the street at The Clift (and the atmosphere is great too), but since I’m here, and the hotel’s free wireless bleeds right on over to the bar - I figured I’d be remiss in my duties as a metblogger if I didn’t go ahead and sample the mojitos here as well.
Verdict: Yum!
But remember: friends don’t let friends blog drunk.
