The First Tuesday

I took a walk with some colleagues from work today up to SFMOMA to take advantage of their “Free” day, which is the first Tuesday of every month. We wanted to catch the William Eggleston exhibit before it hit the road and ended up checking out this exhibitas well which I found quite a bit more interesting personally. I’m a sucker for the classics. But one really nice perk was lunch at Caffè Museo. I highly recommend the Butternut Squash Ravioli. It was quite a treat and it was nice outside so a lunch in the brisk afternoon sun before it turned back to doom and gloom was a nice change of pace. Art & Food. Where can you go wrong? Oh yeah, and my friend Derek actually dragged me on that bloody catwalk which was pretty cool even if it did take 5 years off my life.

Didn’t you find the anticipation of the catwalk was worse than the catwalk itself? It looks worse from below; you can’t see much when you’re on it.

I’ve thought too much about the catwalk. I admit it.

No, being on the catwalk pretty much sucked ass. It’s pretty damn sketchy IMO. Then again I’m a pretty big guy so I felt the grating bouncing a little more than the average joe so it was unnerving as hell. I won’t be going up there again methinks :-)
